Friendly farmstead
What was once a rural farmstead has grown into a charming family-owned lodge, with the original Plantation House being expanded to include a collection of charming cottages set amid ten hectares of lush gardens where over a thousand trees have been planted.
There are 16 rooms and eight larger suites across the property (including two two-bedroom family units) each with fireplaces for cooler months. The lodge also has two welcoming dining rooms, a bar and a refreshing swimming pool.
Located between the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, Plantation Lodge is a comfortable base from which to explore the two national parks. Tarangire and the Serengeti are also within reach.
