The Amazon

Napo Wildlife Centre

Overview

In the heart of the rainforest

The Napo Wildlife Center is a beautiful eco-lodge located in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador. The Lodge offers a wide range of experiences for visitors, including guided hikes through the rainforest, visits to local communities, and canoe rides along the Napo River. Participate in birdwatching excursions, visits to clay licks where colourful parrots and macaws gather, and even climb to the treetops via a 36-meter-tall canopy tower that offers stunning views of the forest from above.

The Napo Wildlife Center is one of our favourite Amazonian Lodges. We love this approach to sustainable tourism practises and how they have balanced the expectation of modern-day comfort with a holistic rainforest experience.
