Overview
La Digue’s most luxurious hotel
La Digue is the Seychelles’ fourth largest island, some ten square kilometres home to a little under 3000 people, with a lush green interior fringed by amazing beaches. Reached only by daily ferries and where oxcart and bicycle are the main forms of transport, it is an infectiously laid-back place.
Of its handful of resorts and lodges, Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie is the most luxurious with its 63 villas, ranging from 60m2 stone and thatch cottages tucked into the lush gardens to the private sanctuary that is the three-bedroom 485m2 Presidential Villa.
The spa is perched on a peak surrounded by pink granite boulders while the spectacular infinity pool and two restaurants are by the ocean. Borrow snorkelling equipment and rent a bike to ride to the island’s famously beautiful beaches or take a sailing trip on the resort's catamaran to explore further afield.
