Los Glaciers National Park

Estancia Cristina

Overview

Glaciers, snowcapped peaks and lakes

On the northern shores of azure Lake Argentino and accessible only by three-hour boat trip, Estancia Cristina is set in an exquisitely remote location inside the aptly named Los Glaciares National Park.

The original estancia was founded by Englishman Joseph Percival Masters and his wife Jessie in 1914, with the history and pioneering spirit still tangible today as you look out to the lake and surrounding mountains.

The 20 comfortable guestrooms are spread across five cottages, each with a shared living area. Two rooms can be connected making it the ideal option for families or groups of friends. The restaurant’s menu includes regional dishes and traditional asados.
