I left university with a degree in English Literature and moved to Argentina to train as a journalist at the Buenos Aires Herald. While honing my craft as a storyteller, the travel supplement soon caught my eye. In staff meetings, I was begging to join any press trip that came our way.

When I returned to London in 2006, I knew I wanted to work in travel. I longed to be part of an industry that helped others see the world in the way I had been so lucky to experience. When I landed a job on the Latin America desk at one of London's top tour operators, I was thrilled - I have never looked back. Almost 20 years later, I have led sales teams with some of the best luxury tour operators in the travel industry. I’ve travelled extensively around Latin America and Asia. Next on my list is Africa!

It's exciting to join Niarra during a pivotal moment in the company's growth. Niarra embodies the essence of travel - putting the values of community and culture at the forefront of every bespoke holiday. Authentic travel, as I've come to realise, demands curiosity, empathy, and an open mind. It's about caring deeply for the people and places we discover along the way.
