Days 1 — 3
The Pearl of Andalusia
Seville is one of the most beautiful cities in the world; a tangle of narrow streets and alleys, lined by pastel-hued terraces and hole-in-the-wall bars leading to bustling plazas and grand squares under glowing Moorish towers and blue skies. Encapsulating the rich history and infectious culture of Andalusia, it is the perfect introduction to southern Spain.

Staying in a fabulous hotel in the heart of the ‘Casco Antiguo’, you’ll be introduced to Seville on a private tour, with the architectural marvels of Iberia's Islamic Al-Andalus period, its ‘Golden Age’ at the heart of trade with the New World and modern era brought to life. Of course, one of the real joys of Seville is joining the locals wandering its orange tree scented streets at your own pace, stopping for tapas and wine, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore at your own pace.
Days 3 — 8
To the mountains
You’ll then be driven southeast, across Andalucia’s golden plains and into the mountains beyond. The Sierra de Grazalema is a natural park and biosphere reserve whose rugged limestone peaks and canyons are sprinkled with Spanish firs, oaks and beautiful white villages. You’ll be staying at Finca La Donaira, a wonderful rural retreat whose biodynamic produce and traditional equestrian centre are a celebration of the region's heritage.

Explore the surroundings by foot and horse, indulging in the finca’s organic food, wine and spa, and we’ve included a privately guided road cycling tour and a day with a conservationist in search of the iconic Iberian lynx in Doñana National Park. We can also include canyoning expeditions, paragliding or a visit to historic Cádiz with an unforgettable meal at Aponiente, a three Michelin star restaurant with an unwavering commitment to sustainable gastronomic practices.
