Overview

Epic dunes and fascinating wildlife

See three of Namibia’s highlights on this classic flying-safari circuit.

From the capital, fly to the immense NamibRand Reserve and the positive-impact luxury of Wolwedans. Your charming lodge is surrounded by 2,200 square kilometres of protected wilderness and breathtaking desert views. A scenic flight over the famous Sossusvlei Dunes is a real highlight.

In Damaraland, learn about how tourism can support the local community and conservation at Desert Rhino Camp, meeting rangers to track rare black rhinos on foot. End in Ongava Game Reserve on the border of the lunar Etosha National Park to see the fascinating mix of wildlife that emerges from the haze to gather at waterholes on the pans.

Days 7 — 10

Safari in Etosha

And now for a safari in Ongava Game Reserve, on the border of Etosha National Park. Once a collection of unproductive cattle ranches, it is now a 30,000-hectare haven to large concentrations of wildlife including lions, rhinos, elephants, giraffes and more.
