Mozambique

Indian Ocean idylls and safari adventures

Bridging Eastern and Southern Africa, bordering six nations and skirted by some 2,500km of Indian Ocean coastline, Mozambique is a vast, varied and captivatingly beautiful place.

Tourism here is underdeveloped, save for a handful of stunning coastal hideaways like those found on the castaway islands of the Barazuto Archipelago or the marine paradise of Quirimbas in the north. Add in its wonderfully friendly people, pristine sands and an appealingly laidback approach to luxury, and you have one of our favourite places to fully unwind or round out a safari honeymoon.

Inland, Mozambique's national parks and reserves are gradually recovering from decades of unrest, with exciting spots like Gorongosa, Limpopo, the Zambezi Delta and the great wilderness of Niassa in the north re-establishing themselves as wildlife hotspots where we can arrange a genuine adventure for the truly intrepid.
