Mobile safari in style
As a mobile tented camp, Wilderness Usawa Serengeti follows the movements of the legendary Great Migration as the herds travel across the length and breadth of the park. Comprising two camps set in key locations along the migratory route, you will have a front-row seat to all the action as it unfolds, while enjoying the privacy and sense of remoteness that comes from being away from the busier tourist areas.
Without any permanent fixtures, the camp has a light footprint on the surrounding environment, with six solar-powered, en-suite safari tents complete with rechargeable lights, charging stations, Wi-Fi and hot water, meaning that no comfort is spared. All four sides of the tent are mesh with views of the grassy plains from every angle. Meals are enjoyed communally in the dining tent, followed by storytelling and stargazing around the social firepit.
Along with exciting game drives to view the mega herds of wildebeest, zebra and predators, which never stray far away from the abundant food supply, you can embark on guided safari walks which conveniently begin directly from camp due to its location in a specially designated walking area.

Wilderness Usawa Serengeti camps have a privileged position within designated walking areas of the Serengeti. This means walks can begin right from camp, under the supervision of experienced guides.

Ballooning
Take to the skies in style and soar over the rich ecosystem of the Serengeti in a hot air balloon. Gaze over the 'endless plains' and their scenic splendour, marvelling at the unfolding drama of the ever-moving mega-herds. Champagne and snacks are served at the end of the flight.
