Porto

The Yeatman

Overview

The best views in Porto

Looking out across Gaia’s historic port lodges and Douro River to Porto’s stunning old town, The Yeatman is one of the city’s very best hotels and enjoys perhaps its finest panorama.

Six stories are cleverly arranged over terraces down the slope, ensuring that each of the 70 rooms and 12 suites can take in the vista from a private terrace or balcony. Each is themed around wine and some of the suites even feature beds inside repurposed wine barrels.

To say things revolve around wine here is an understatement. The Yeatman hosts the largest and most comprehensive cellar of Portuguese wines anywhere in the world, paired with a two-Michelin star restaurant – along with more relaxed dining options – making it a haven for foodies. Other highlights here include the spectacular decanter-shaped infinity pool and an award-winning spa.
