Overview
Desert
Situated at the base of the mountain, Sossus Dune Lodge is one of only two lodges that lies within the century-old Namib Naukluft Park.
25 wood, canvas and thatch chalets look out over the dunes and desert, with a raised wooden walkway leading to the main lodge, sunset deck, swimming pool and dining area.
Being inside the park you have the advantage of reaching Sossusvlei before sunrise to witness the colours reflecting off the dunes in the early morning light as well as stay well after sunset to be enchanted by a blanket of stars of the southern sky.
