Selinda Explorers Camp

Overview

Classically wild

Selinda Explorers Camp can be found sitting in the shade of a riverine forest on the banks of the Selinda Spillway in the middle of a 130,000-hectare reserve.

This classically romantic camp is a step back in time with just four canvas tents complete with campaign-style furniture made from recycled hardwoods and soft furnishings from Zanzibar and the East, along with modern comforts such as hot showers and fabulous beds. Simple yet timelessly stylish.

A Bedouin-style main area consisting of a lounge and separate dining room is the relaxed heart of the camp. The entire setup can be booked exclusively for families and small groups.

Guiding is excellent and you can explore on game drives, by canoe and on exciting bush walks. Selinda Explorers sits in prime predator habitat, with lions, leopards, cheetahs and African wild dogs spotted frequently, as well as being home to good densities of elephants, giraffes and buffaloes, superb birding and rarities like elands, sables and roan antelopes.
