Santorini Mozambique

Mozambican warmth meets Grecian glamour

Nestled in the cliffs north of Vilanculos, overlooking the pristine waters of the protected Bazaruto Archipelago Marine National Park, Santorini Mozambique adds a helping of white-washed Aegean glamour to this coastline’s wild beauty and wonderfully welcoming people.

The Main Villa offers five en suite bedrooms, each with a private patio. The living area, comprising a lounge, ocean-facing deck and plunge pool, wind-protected courtyard pool and dining spaces.

The Chapel is a two-bedroom villa, ideal for honeymoon couples with its own pool, lounge, kitchen and dining room. Villa da Praia is a three-bedroom villa ideal for families and friend groups.

On the Mozambique mainland, you can discover the area’s culture, seemingly endless sands and waters on a range of activities. The Bazaruto Archipelago and some of the best scuba diving in the world are just a boat trip away.

Community & Culture

Santorini Mozambique believes in giving back to those in need around the property through various initiatives including the resources and time of our Santorini team and owners and monetary support in education and mentors. For every night spent by our guests at Santorini, a percentage of revenue is donated to its Santorini Footprints Projects. Through these various initiatives, they aim to leave a sustainable and positive footprint in the lives and land of this Mozambican coastline.

One project, run in partnership with community development agency ParCO, is the local Chigamane Primary School, whose 500 students and teachers are assisted with school meals, access kits and more. Santorini guests will be able to visit the school during a tour of Chigamane Village and will be able to donate to the school.

Santorini Mozambique proudly supports the Vilanculos Beach Clean Up Team. The hotel also supports a local environmental initiative called Plastic Free Vilanculos, a community-driven project with a goal to eliminate plastic and other waste from the area’s sea, beaches and roads. The property itself has eliminated single-use plastics as much as possible.
