Overview
Explorer luxury on the Zambezi
The Royal Livingstone is located on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, only steps from one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Bask in graceful safari style and relax in elegance, with sweeping Zambezi River and savannah views from every veranda at Livingstone Hotel. Wake up to the sight of zebras wandering the hotel grounds. Raise a glass at sunset to the majestic Victoria Falls thundering to its depths as you recline in style. Surrender to relaxation with spa therapies under the shade of monkey trees on the banks of the river.
There are 173 rooms, housed in 17 two-storey buildings with the hotel’s grounds. Interiors are inspired by Victorian elegance, infused with Africa’s tribal warmth, and each room boasts a private veranda overlooking the Zambezi River. Guests can unwind in the cool shade of the travellers’ bar and sitting room while savouring an impeccably served high tea or delight in a refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool before tucking into delectable dishes from the restaurant’s á la carte menu.

Discover how cutting out the middleman made all the difference and how a mushroom-growing warehouse can empower an entire community.
Footprint
Anantara minimise water consumption in all areas of their hotels through the combined efforts of their guests and partners. They also strive to reduce energy consumption each year by at least 10%. Anantara hotels reduce, reuse and recycle solid waste, implementing composting programmes, and purchasing products that are durable, repairable and able to be recycled.
