Victoria Falls

River Farmhouse at Waterberry

Overview

Family riverside retreat.

The River Farmhouse is a private house sat overlooking the meandering Zambezi above Victoria Falls.

With four en suite bedrooms (two either side of the large central living space) and an extra annex room for additional guests, River Farmhouse sleeps 8 – 10.

Glass doors in the central lounge open out onto a large veranda with lounging and dining areas – perfect for outdoor living, as are the beautiful gardens and infinity pool where you can cool off with a G&T.

Your Farmhouse host will help you plan your stay with a dedicated guide to escort you to Victoria Falls and your other chosen activities in a private vehicle and boat. In the kitchen, chefs prepare meals to suit your diet and timetable, while household staff are on hand to cater for your every need.

Community & Culture

In 2009 Waterberry founded Tukongote Community Projects to improve the educational opportunities in nearby villages. Starting with one preschool class, it now supports over 400 children in three preschools and one primary school, employing local teachers and support staff and helping them gain recognized teaching qualifications.

You can experience everyday rural Zambian life as well as seeing the Tukongote projects in action if you join a village walk during your stay.
