Lower Zambezi National Park

Potato Bush Camp

Overview

Far away from the crowds

This intimate tented camp is in a prime location in the wildlife-rich Lower Zambezi National Park, with gorgeous views overlooking the islands and channels of the river and with the escarpment providing a scenic backdrop. With an extremely low density of camps, you are unlikely to see another vehicle during your stay, which means you will feel as though you have this pristine wilderness all to yourself.

There are three safari tents and a two-bedroom family tent, all with en-suite bathrooms, twin showers and basins, and four-claw bathtubs. Large rosewood folding doors lead onto the verandah complete with a two-person hammock and a private plunge pool – it’s impossible to imagine a more perfect place to while away the sunny afternoon hours.

Each of the tents connects to the main area via raised wooden decks. In this shared space you will find the dining room, lounge and bar. At night, the campfire right on the edge of the river bank is lit, where you will be able to share stories of your day’s adventure over a glass of wine and under a million stars.
