POD is a contemporary cool boutique hotel set back from Camps Bay's palm-lined beachfront, minimalist in style with concrete and stone softened with wood and tactile fabrics.
17 rooms range from compact but well-equipped spaces to most spacious options with balconies opening onto the Twelve Apostles Mountain or sea views. The sprawling corner rooms enjoy the best vistas of all.
Downstairs find a stylish lounge-bar opening out on a deck and lap pool with sea views, a great spot for sunset cocktails before venturing out to the restaurants that are just a stroll away.

During the construction of the property, conscious efforts were made to follow environmentally friendly building practices and made use of the latest green technology wherever possible. These include solar panels to aid the heating of the hot water system, systems to make water usage more efficient, strict recycling policies, the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products.
POD also aims offset a portion of guests’ carbon emission by pledging to plant a tree in either a school, community or deforested area in the Western Cape.
