Overview
Deep in the Rainforest
Allow the spirit of adventure to stir within you at One&Only Gorilla’s Nest. Surrounded by eucalyptus trees, it’s a peaceful and welcoming place to call home while on your life-changing journey to encounter the majestic mountain gorillas of Volcanoes National Park.
Feel as though you’ve escaped to a treehouse overlooking the forest in one of the 14 rooms and seven suites. Step out onto your wooden terrace to be enveloped by the sounds of birds and marvel at the views. Huge windows allow for plenty of natural light and leave you feeling properly connected to nature.
Hubertus Feit’s interior design has been gently inspired by Africa, but the colours remain muted so that your focus is always pulled outwards. Patterned rugs and carefully chosen pieces of local art add character. Near the rooms, on a slope, you’ll find the Nest bar and restaurant and spa. The winding paths that take you through the property are edged with roses and other beautiful flowers.
