Lake Mutanda

Mutanda Lake Resort

Overview

Trekking base

Along a private peninsula on Lake Mutanda, Mutanda Lake Resort offers a comfortable base between Mgahinga and Bwindi National Parks along with fabulous views across the water to the Virunga Mountain Range.

Thirteen rustic cottages are built on a wooden platform, each with a veranda and en-suite bathroom with a mix of single, double and triple family rooms.

The resort also has a restaurant serving local and international dishes, much of it made with ingredients from the lodge’s gardens, as well as a pier for swimming and relaxing on between treks.
