Volcano views
In the foothills of Mount Sabinyo with wonderful views up to Volcanoes National Park, Mountain Gorilla View Lodge is a comfortable stay for trekkers.
It has 30 spacious stone and thatch cottages set in its gardens which, while not the most contemporary design-wise, are more than comfortable with a lounge, fireplace and en suite bathrooms.
Wander to the main building where you’ll find a friendly restaurant serving homecooked food and a bar. The park HQ and meeting point for gorilla treks is just 15 minutes away by road.
