Casa Palacio Castelar
In the heart of Seville’s historic center, in El Arenal district, Mercer Hotel offers a small boutique stay in the former Casa Palacio Castelar, an elegant late 19th-century mansion.
There are only 11 rooms and dreamlike suites set around a classic Andalusian courtyard which is flooded with natural light. As are the arches and high ceilings of the former mansion’s main floor as well as its original majestic staircase. The interiors integrate the old and the new with an exclusive collection of expressionist paintings by Agustí Puig.
When not exploring the wonderful city of Seville you can unwind at the stunning Mercer terrace featuring a swimming pool, solarium, and pool bar. In the evenings the María Luisa restaurant comes alive with Andalusian culinary culture, and also the FIZZ Bar, a sophisticated cocktail bar to enjoy.
