Lower Zambezi National Park

Lolebezi

Overview

Contemporary African

Set in the untouched wilds of Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park, Lolebezi is a spectacular lodge set along a kilometer the meandering river’s edge with views across to Mana Pools in Zimbabwe.

Designed for both family and romantic escapes, Lolebezi has four suites and two two-room family units. Boldly contemporary African in style, each has a private plunge pool, shaded sala and a fabulous bath from which you can watch the Zambezi flow and elephants wander by.

The relaxed communal areas, made from thatch and reclaimed railway sleepers, include private and shared dining spaces, a spa, yoga deck, bar and a games room. With a relaxed schedule, you’re encouraged to mix incredible wildlife experiences with downtime making this an ideal spot for longer stays.

Community & Culture

The African Bush Camps Foundation works with the local communities with the goal of community upliftment through tourism by creating a long-lasting positive impact. In Zambia, the lodge has partnered with the Maunga Community and together have identified two focus areas; building a much needed clinic building and providing scholarships to children who are in need and show potential in the classroom. Moreover, details of the suite interiors and furnishings are sustainably designed and produced by local craftsmen and merchants.
