Overlooking one of Edinburgh’s prettiest private garden squares, Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel consists of seven interconnected grand Georgian townhouses brought into the 21st century in a playful style.
199 rooms blend handsome woods, plush fabrics, and rich pops of colour (and just a touch of tartan), ranging up to some impressive suites.
Dining venues include the Scottish influenced Middle Eastern at the popular BABA, six-course tasting menus of British seasonal produce at Aizle and light bites in the tranquil Garden bar in the centre of the hotel.

Kimpton was the first hotel brand to become 100 percent portfolio-wide certified by the Green Key Eco-Rating Program and the brand has won multiple awards touting its environmental leadership. Green and sustainable procedures include the use of non-toxic cleaning supplies, extensive recycling, and control of water consumption. They have also partnered with Clean the World which collects and recycles soap and hygiene products discarded every day by the hospitality industry and other sectors. Charlotte Square is also the first hotel in Scotland to use fully electric chauffeur services for all guests.
