Mana Pools National Park

Kanga Camp

Overview

Mana forests

In a private concession deep in the forests of Mana Pools National Park, Kanga Camp is surrounded by an utterly untouched wilderness. It takes its name from the adjacent Kanga Pan whose waters attract off manner of wildlife during the dry season.

Six Meru-style tents sit raised on individual wooden platforms for an elevated view over the pan. Simple yet elegant, each boasts floor-to-ceiling mesh windows to let in ample natural light and a light breeze, en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. There’s a larger family unit with extra beds and a secluded honeymoon tent with a rolltop bath.

The main area has a refreshing plunge pool, dining area and deck area over a wildlife hide where you can watch and wait for the elephants to come to you.
