Kasbah views
The charming Hotel Nord Pinus Tanger sits on the highest point of the kasbah – the city’s historic center – with breathtaking views across the Strait of Gibraltar to the Spanish coast.
Once the grand townhouse of an 18th-century pasha, the building has been delicately restored and richly decorated with antiques from around the world by owner Anne Igou. An intimate place to stay, there are just five bedrooms and a private two-bedroom house.
The restaurant and bar and their lofty terraces are the romantic settings for some of the best sunset views in the city, while many of Tangier’s famous cafes, top sights and coolest hangouts are walking distance away.
