Hotel Mama Cuchara by Art Hotels is a stunning, family-owned property in the historic centre of Quito, within walking distance from Plaza Santo Domingo. Faithful to the Art Hotels brand concept, Hotel Mama Cuchara indulges the keen traveller with a private collection of art complemented by rotating exhibits of various Ecuadorian artists
The hotel’s 26 rooms and suites are charmingly decorated with locally inspired textiles, featuring original wood beams and meticulously carved oak headboards, and are warmly lit by custom-made recycled plastic lighting fixtures. The luxury rooms are furnished with either king or queen size beds, a spacious living area, and some come with a balcony or bath.
Indulge in delicious meals at the La Plaza Restaurant, in the main courtyard, offering traditional cuisine from various regions of Ecuador. Enjoy a drink at the hotel’s rooftop bar with exceptional views across the capital.
