Essaouira

Heure Bleue Palais

Overview

Historic charm with a stylish edge

At the entrance of Essaouira’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed medina – and initially unassuming from the outside like the best of Morocco’s historic riads – the Heure Bleue Palais’s 18th-century interiors have been thoughtfully renovated into the historic port city’s most famous hotel.

33 rooms and suites are arranged around the verdant central courtyard, both elegant and cosy in style, with plush furnishings, ornate details and candle-lit lamps.

Shared spaces include a fabulous panoramic terrace with a heated pool, grand lounges, a traditional hammam spa and a celebrated restaurant serving Relais & Châteaux quality Moroccan cuisine with a modern twist.
