Overview
Absolute privacy and stunning ocean views
10km off Queensland’s Cape York Peninsula, inside the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Haggerstone is a privately owned island home to an off-grid rustic resort hidden among the palms.
Owners Roy and Anna Turner have spent over three decades looking after the island, building five open and airy villas dotted along the beach and all with breezy ocean views.
Heavy beams, a high thatched roof and a crackling cooking fire make the main building an inviting place to while away the hours. Head down to the sea and take a stroll out onto the jetty that hovers above a lagoon which is home to a myriad vibrant creatures.
All the activities on offer can be tailored to give you the perfect adventure, from snorkelling and fishing, to jetskiing and excursions further afield by boat and helicopter.

Helicopters and waterfalls
Head out on chartered helicopter flights to visit private waterfalls and sand-cays and find great fishing spots. You can also touch down for Champagne sundowners on sand dunes.
