Steeped in history and tradition
Hacienda Pimán is a colonial-era property located in the heart of the Northern Andes region of Ecuador. Dating back to the 17th Century, this family home and a working farm that has been cared for by generations of the Zaldumbide family. The 12-acre gardens are an oasis of tranquil courtyards leading to flower-filled meadows and a private chapel. Every inch of the Hacienda is steeped in history and perfectly blended with the comforts of modern living.
Rooms are simple and in keeping with local traditions. In much the same vein, the restaurant serves simple but delicious Ecuadorian cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients, including many fruits and vegetables grown on the property. In the evening, retreat to the cosy bar and try a selection of Ecuadorian wines and cocktails made with locally distilled spirits. Hacienda Pimán is an ideal base for exploring the natural and cultural wonders of the Northern Andes.
