Overview
Designed by Philippe Starck
Fasano Hotel Rio de Janeiro is the first building in Brazil designed by renowned French architect, Philippe Starck, making it the most fascinating destination at Ipanema's beachfront.
The hotel’s architecture and interior design pay homage to the spirit of Brazilian design of the 1950's and 1960's, and the glorious Bossa Nova era. This casually elegant hideaway offers 89 rooms and suites with private terraces (42 with ocean views), furnished with hardwood floors, Rodrigues chairs and Dali-esque, ear-shaped mirrors. The luxurious king-sized beds are set at a slight incline to ensure they follow the horizon and maximise the view. All the rooms feature Starck designed appliances, Havianas and marble bathrooms.
Make the most of the infinity rooftop pool with glorious sweeping views over Ipanema Beach, indulge in a Mediterranean feast at Gero or treat yourself to a treatment at Spa Fasano.
