Overview
Original Charm
Sitting with views of the sea, the Duisdale is a family run hotel on the breathtakingly beautiful and slightly mystical Scottish island of Skye. Originally a hunting lodge, the house was built in 1860 and has been host to many happy guests over the years. The gardens and exterior of the house have retained all their original charms, whilst the interiors have been updated to create a sleek modern hotel.
There are a range of room types, but all of them offer warmth and comfort with king size beds, the finest bed linens and even some of the more modern luxuries such as integrated sound systems and flatscreen TVs. Not that there will be much time to use these features as the island is full of magical places to discover, sensational views to soak up and quaint towns to explore.
The Duisdale is brimming with friendly Scottish hospitality, offers great rooms and good Scottish fare. All in all, a solid place to bolt hole whilst visiting this incredibly special island.
