Constance Lemuria

Luxury on Praslin

Scattered along two pristine beaches on Praslin Island’s northwest coast, Constance Lemuria is a mid-size luxury resort with extensive facilities and admirable sustainability ethos.

There are 96 spacious suites along the shore, nestled amid the greenery and palms, along with eight expansive two-bedroom villas and the completely private three-bedroom Presidential Villa, each with their own pools and staff.

Four restaurants range from barefoot beach lunches to modern Creole and Mediterranean flavours, while five bars should keep you well-watered. Turtle conservation

Endangered hawksbill and green turtles come ashore to nest on the resort’s beaches between October and February. Under the supervision of Lemuria’s Turtle Manager, guests can have the unique experience of watching the females come up on the beach to lay and later see the baby turtles move down to the sea.

Guests and community members, including the next generation of locals, are regularly invited for planting activities in neighbouring mangroves. Grande Anse Kerlan at Constance Lemuria in Seychelles remains the number one beach on Praslin Island. Here, guests can find out about the ongoing turtle conservation project.

Thanks to a range of initiatives, Constance Lemuria has held a Green Globe Certification since 2013, and a Gold member since 2018. The Green Globe’s International Standard for Sustainable Tourism was the first standard developed over 20 years ago. Today Green Globe’s Standard is recognised as one of the highest level of sustainability certification by leaders in green travel and responsible eco-tourism.

The resort has also attained Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Label since 2015 for incorporating sustainable practices into their business operations that help to safeguard the biodiversity and culture of Seychelles.
