South Luangwa National Park

Chamilandu Bushcamp

Overview

Exclusive walking safari

Chamilandu is a rustic bush camp on one of the South Luangwa’s prime river locations, perfect for a bird’s-eye view of the wildlife that the river and lagoons attract.

There are just three stilted chalets at this intimate camp, making it a great spot for exclusive use by small groups. Each has its own raised veranda to relax on during the heat of the day and an open-fronted en-suite bathroom with the same magnificent views over the meandering waters.

A wildlife hide overlooking a lagoon is a fine spot for afternoon tea, while the central lounge, bar and dining area enjoy panoramic vistas over the river. The focus here is on walking safaris, so look forward to exciting adventures in the bush accompanied by expert guides.
