Boutique history
Located in front of a peaceful little piazza behind the city’s famous main square, Casa Cartagena is a boutique hotel in a faithfully restored mayor’s mansions, its original architectural features contrasting with modern interiors.
Though grand, the property has just 16 suites, all with bathtubs and views over the peaceful courtyard.
Head downstairs to the bar each evening for a cocktails and canapes, with guests also invited to a pisco sour class before dinner of local flavours at La Bodega de la Chola. The Qoya Spa is the place to unwind after trekking.
