Beachpoint Apartments offer short and long-term accommodation with stunning sea views overlooking 11km of unbroken and sandy Ōhope Beach in the eastern Bay of Plenty.
The 12 superbly located self-contained apartments are simple and comfortable, with large decks from which to admire the vistas out to White Island.
Ōhope, voted New Zealand’s most loved beach, is one of the best and safest surf beaches in the country and the local area also provides excellent opportunities for bush and coastal walks in the reserves, fishing, cycling and mountain biking.

Swim at West End Beach
Located just a few minutes’ walk from Beachpoint Apartments, West End Beach is a safe and sheltered swimming beach, popular with surfers when the conditions are right. From the end of the beach, there is a walking track that leads through the bush to the secluded Otarawairere Bay.

Walk through Ohope Scenic Reserve
The Ohope Scenic Reserve includes one of the country's largest remaining coastal pohutukawa forests and has outstanding scenic and conservation values. This walkway includes walks through wetlands and is also well known for its native birds which include tui, bellbirds, fantails and kiwi.
