Set among the beautiful villages and vineyards of Provence that inspired Van Gogh and Cézanne, Baumanière is both a fabulous hotel and gastronomic institution.
53 rustic, understated rooms are a luxurious take on a traditional country inn. They are split between five buildings surrounded by Mediterranean gardens – the L’Oustau, the historical main house, La Guigou, a Provençal farmhouse, the 18th-century manor, and finally Carita and Flora, two country abodes.
There are two gourmet restaurants, the Oustau de Baumanière, its fabulous French cuisine awarded celebrated with three Michelin stars, and the relaxed La Cabro d'Or. The estate also has a fine spa, three outdoor pools, and a tennis court.

This traditional establishment in the heart of the Alpilles embraces the local and organic. It produces its own honey and has a vegetable garden (classed as Ecocert organic) that provides the kitchens with fresh, seasonal vegetables. The rest is sourced from neighbouring sustainable farms. To help the staff to live nearby, reducing travel and thereby cutting greenhouse gas emissions, the property also offers 54 affordable residencies.
