Tierra del Fuego

Arakur Ushuaia Resort & Spa

Overview

Luxury at the end of the world

Set on a natural balcony 250 metres above sea level, within the stunning surroundings of Cerro Alarkén Nature Reserve with views out to the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, Arakur is a place to find comfort at the end of the world.

The resort has been designed according to the standards of sustainable architecture, with each of the 131 spacious rooms and suites decorated using indigenous Argentine materials including copper, marble, stone, wood and leather. Large windows in each room make the most of the exceptional surroundings and offer panoramic views of Ushuaia city and the Beagle Channel to the south, or the mountains and reserve. The sophisticated and native elegance combines with leading-edge comfort technology including geothermal air conditioning, humidity control and acoustic insulation systems.

Typical flavors from Tierra del Fuego like Argentine barbecue, spider crab and black hake can be enjoyed with the views from the restaurant while those after some pampering can head to the spa's heated pools.
