Overview
Sail in style through the Galapagos
A trip to the Galapagos Islands is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure – but exploring the Archipelago’s remote landscapes and islands by luxury superyacht takes it to a whole new level!
The Italian CRN Yacht-built Aqua Mare boasts 30 percent more indoor space than most 50m yachts her size and comes with a world-class pedigree. There are just seven spacious, sea-facing suites spread over three decks, including an 80 sqm Owner’s Suite. Interiors are by the famous François Zuretti with exterior styling by the Italy-based Studio Scanu.
The Lower Deck boasts four suites, a swim platform and a beach club/movie room whilst the Main Deck includes two Suites and an indoor dining room. The Upper Deck has one suite, an outdoor dining area, panoramic lounge, lobby bar and the Bridge. The Top Deck includes a shaded dining area, a 6-person jacuzzi, sun loungers, workout zone and barbeque area.
Service onboard is exceptional with a 1:1 crew to guest ratio and two English-speaking naturalist guides on call to take guests on adventures – be it a hike along Twin Craters, snorkeling with penguins, diving coral reefs, fishing or simply spotting wildlife and birds. Renowned Peruvian Chef, Pedro Miguel Schiaffino has curated a bespoke menu of signature dishes that truly celebrate the flavours of South America.

Conservation
Aqua helps support the local economy by employing staff from the community. They contribute to social projects which in turn enriches the guest experience. Exploring the daily lives and customs of local communities is an integral part of every Aqua journey, encouraging guests to return home with a deeper understanding of the local culture and its challenges. More than 80% of staff across Aqua's four destinations are employed locally. Aqua focuses on using small explorer vessels and exploring the more remote destinations, far removed from crowded areas and attractions with the emphasis on nature and wildlife.
Community and culture
Aqua has paved the way for more sustainable river and sea explorations, educating crew, guests and locals involved on the importance of preserving these fragile ecosystems. Aqua supports a number of conservation projects in Peru where the company first started operating, while in Indonesia it is funding conservation education schemes.
Footprint
Aqua Expeditions constantly works to make its operations as sustainable as possible. This includes finding ways to improve fuel efficiency, reduced engine and energy emissions, sourcing environmentally-friendly and ethically-produced materials for vessel design, innovative waste management and a fresh farm-to-table approach. 90% of the lighting used on board all ships is LED, no harmful cleaning chemicals are used onboard and systems are in place to ensure clean water is returned to the rivers and seas sailed in.
