AfroChic Diani Beach is an intimate villa-style boutique wonderfully located right beside Diani’s white powder sands and turquoise Indian Ocean waters.
Once a grand private home, it now contains ten eclectically designed rooms with a relaxed, friendly feel. Outside, find an enticing swimming pool and lush tropical gardens leading right to the beach.
This is a great spot to relax with the laid-back pace of local life or explore with a range of activities available locally, from kite and wind-surfing to scuba-diving in the coral reefs, horse-riding and fishing trips.

Community & Culture
The hotel runs a trainee program for school leavers from the local community. The trainees are trained for one year on hospitality skills and then posted to Elewana properties for internships. More than 70% of the permanent employees are from the local community. They also support local primary schools and support local fisherman and farmers through the produce purchased.
Conservation
AfroChic conducts regular beach cleanups in partnership with the county government and the local community, and also supports a local turtle conservation organization, Diani Turtle Watch, through turtle monitoring. The facility has set up a hatchery site at the hotel beachfront,
whereby they partner with local communities who bring turtle eggs to the hatchery site for conservation.
